I remembered my first visit to Cebu Zoo was when I was three years old. They had so many animals back then. And they had this monkey named Jerry who does not respond to it’s caretaker. That was when we thought maybe he had hearing problems haha. After 18 years, my friend and I decided to visit Cebu Zoo but sad to say the zoo is not as lively as it was before. The only intriguing part during our visit was this tiger named Bogart and the gentle-well-behaved crocodile who allows us to touch him. I think this is because the zoo lacks financial assistance. I still hope and pray though, that the zoo will go back to the way it was before or will improve more.

I thank God for giving me the opportunity and the experience to volunteer in distributing relief goods to the victims of Yolanda (Haiyan) typhoon in Medellin, Cebu. The payment of our efforts was in six figures: S-M-I-L-E-S. Such a priceless reward for all of us who donated and volunteered. Donate and volunteer today!

I remembered feeling all giddy inside as our boat got nearer and nearer the cave entrance of Puerto Princesa Underground River in Palawan, Philippines. It’s so beautiful! No wonder it was listed as one of the Seven Wonders of Nature (2007-2011). Visit now!

Visited our cousin’s house to celebrate new year. The funny thing is, when we got there, their pet rabbits welcomed us. It was such a coincidence because year 2011 was actually the year of the Rabbit. Though, I did not bother to ask my auntie if they did it in purpose but still, what had happened amazed me.
